Cronin Jr., devoted grandfather of 31 and great-grandfather of 11, dear brother of Richard (Patricia) Cronin, Kathy (Wally) Ahern, late Paul (Patricia) Cronin, late Ann (late Bill) Corrigan and late Rev. Edward J. Cronin O.M.I., dear brother-in-law of the late Mary (late Paul) Biank, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of U.S Navy WWII. Retired Teacher for Loyola Academy. Past President and 23 year member of St. Vincent DePaul Society and Ozanam Recipient. Visitation Tuesday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, at 10 a.m., from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Your dad was the first teacher I had at Loyola, Summer 1973. He got my high school experience off to a wonderful start and remained a mentor and friend all 4 years. My sincere condolences to your family. He left a great legacy.
