John Cole Obituary
John Darryl Cole, affectionately known as Johnny, was born on June 15, 1958, and passed away on July 15, 2024, at home. Born to Robert and Willa Cole in Chicago, IL, Johnny graduated from Calumet High School and retired after a 30-year career at Carson Pirie Scott in 2007.
Johnny, the third child, leaves behind his loving mother, Willa Cole. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cole, sister Lynette, and brother Glenn. Survived by brothers Dennis, Jeff (Gwen), Kelvin (Pat), Terrence (Debra), and Gerald (Delisa), he is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Johnny's loving presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy endures. He will be cremated with a private service. The Cole family appreciates all the condolences received. Johnny cherished the quote, "May you long travel the path of life in days that are full of joy and decent."
