John Bozzi Obituary

Much more than an uncle, John (Uncle Don) was like the grandfather I never had. He possessed the rare quality of being pure of heart- gentle and loving to mankind and animals alike.

Uncle Don never missed a birthday, and went out of his way to give my children a little something to help make their birthdays special.

Uncle Don's distinctive booming voice will be missed- especially around the dinner table at the traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinners.

We remember Uncle John (Don-Don) as being charismatic, debonair and well groomed. He was always pleasant and a joy to be around. Our deepest sympathy go to Uncle Don-Don and his family.

As Danny & Rose Bozzi's youngest, I remember Uncle Don-Don, surrounded by his many siblings, as being tall, dark and very handsome - and always nicely dressed. I remember he was always nice to me, such a pleasant person, and seemed he was more like an older cousin than an uncle.

My warmest thoughts and prayers go out for Uncle Don-Don and the rest of the Bozzi family at this time.

I EXPRESS MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF JOHN. I REMEMBER HIM AS AN QUIET AND SWEET MAN. I DIDN'T SEE HIM OFTEN - ONLY WHEN MY PARENTS (DAN AND ROSE BOZZI )VISITED GRANDPA (VITO) BOZZI. I ALWAYS HAD FOND MEMORIES OF " DON-DON" .

My greatest memory of my cousin, Don Don was how impeccably he always dressed. Even as a little kid I remember him being one of the best dressed guys on Hermitage. Reminded me of our Uncle Joey Butts. Besides being well dressed and always very sweet to me, Jack and Ruth, he would take us to Louie Capps store for candy or pop when we would visit his dad's house. He was a great older cousin and I remember he loved my mother very much. Rest in Peace.
