What do you say to a family at times like this, I'm sorry doesn't seem to be nearly enough. Chris, Jer, and Zak she'll always be with you your whole life. Your moms at peace and I believe with people who love her to.Remember all the great times you all shared and, remember you have each other to lean on always .

It is with a heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to such a great person. Aunt Joell meant so much to me and to the entire family. She was a person who took life in her stride and laughed at the challenges and difficulties in her life. The most important thing to remember and hold onto is that she loved you all and is now smiling down on you. Chris, I know whole-heatedly that she is proud of you. She told me recently that you are a great mom and wonderful daughter. Jer and Zak, you must know also she loves you. You are all going to be okay and she knows this. You have her strength, courage and laughter within you. Remember, this is a family that has extremely strong roots and we are always here for eachother. After all, we had the best teachers--our moms!!

Aunt Joell will be missed terribly. We certainly missed her already this past Christmas as she was in the hospital. Christmas was always her favorite holiday. Though funds were tight for her over the years, there was always a present for each one of us (and over the last 11 years, for our kids as well). She had a "heart of gold" and was extremely thoughtful.

Personally, she helped me through a very difficult time in my life and lead me in the right direction and I will be eternally grateful to her for that.

Chris, Jer, Zack, Dad, Uncle Joe, and Aunt Alice, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. We have a strong, loving family and we will be here to give you strength. Love, Michelle
