Dear Lois,Bobby and Sissy,How sad I was that I was unable to attend the service for Joel ,Fane was in the hos[ital having some heart surgury but my thoughts and prayers were with all of you.He surly will be missed but such great memories of him will remain my deepest condolences to all of you Patrice Berman

I have wonderful memories of him when we were all younger. I know your love for Joel will always be in your heart, as it is in ours.. .

We were unable to attend the services.

Hey Bob - This is Marc Seeger. My dad told me about your father's passing away. He said that your dad had invited him to stay overnight at your house when he had driven him from the camp to Chicago. It was good to visit with you last summer at camp. Unfortunately, my own mother passed away rather suddenly just a few weeks later. I hope that we can visit again sometime.

I am so sorry to hear of Joel's passing. Marc and Daniel join me in extending our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We so enjoyed our time with both of you. I especially remember Joel bringing schmurra matzoh over for Pesach and helping to make the holiday memorable. He will be missed by many.
