Dear John and Family,
Words cannot express the deep sorrow I am experiencing on the loss of our beloved Joan. She started writing to me because of my AMC online column and we struck up a friendship/bond. The two of you came to see me twice in Vegas and I got to see you once back there at the Empress. I have very fond memories of our short but sweet visits all three times. You were an amazing couple and had a wonderful life and family. I know we all miss her and hold her dear to our hearts. I always remember her as being so full of life and mischief, we even had some long distance conversations to keep up with each other. Her husband, daughters, and grandkids were her pride and joys. May God keep you all in his care as you forge ahead together. Please know I send my deepest sympathy and am here if you need anything!!!!

John,
So sorry to hear about your wife. We only met once at the Empress thru Sue from Las Vegas, our AMC Internet writer. We had a nice dinner at the Empress and your wife seemed very charming and so much enjoyed AMC. I send my deepest sympathy.

Judie and Lisa,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I know the feeling way to well. I am also sorry that I wasn't able to attend the wake.
I hope that the 2 of you and your Dad are doing OK.
Take care.
