I'd like to extend our sympathy to the entire Carroll family on the recent loss of your mother, on behalf of my father, Lionel Eubanks; my sister, Leslie Eubanks; and myself. I know that my late mother, Kae Eubanks, enjoyed staying in touch with your mom before my parents moved from the Longwood Drive house. Hi Mike and the rest, very sorry to hear about you mom. I can still see all those clean clothes stacked up in piles on the dining room table. Just one of the good memory I have from hanging around your house.

We didn't hear of your mom's death until yesterday. Had we known we would have attended the wake or funeral.

Our moms are such terrific friends. What a bond!

On Christmas Day, the Doubek siblings gathered and all of us looked at an incredible photo album Joan gave to Rita 10 years ago. There were pictures of them in grade school and high school and pictures none of us ever had seen of Frank and Rita enjoying a beach outing with Joan and others. Truly, some of the best, romantic pictures I've ever seen of my parents.

The Doubeks will always lovingly remember Joan and all the Carrolls.
