Jimmy Chambless Obituary

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS - It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmy Don Chambless announces his peaceful passing on Feb. 1, 2023 after a strong fight in intensive care at North Hills Hospital.
Jimmy Don Chambless was born in Fort Worth, Texas, resided in North Richland Hills where he lived happily as a proud native Texan his entire 75 years. He graduated from Richland High School in 1966 and worked for Norton Metals starting shortly after graduating and worked there the majority of his career as a Sales Manager. He married the love of his life, Pam Barbee Chambless in September of 1993. They were happily married for the last 30 years of his life.
Jimmy Don enjoyed going to the lake, summer barbeques by the pool, holiday celebrations with family, watching the Cowboys and Longhorn games, and of course going to all of his grandkids' events. He was a kind, caring person who loved his family, friends and neighbors.
Jimmy Don was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Margaret Chambless; and his sister, Janie Chambless.
Jimmy Don is survived by his wife, Pam Chambless; sisters, Nancy Cave and husband, Tom, Terri Chambless Alcedo; brother, Charlie Chambless and wife, Kim; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jeremy Robin; son, Corby Chambless; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Brandon Pryor; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Jill and Brian Manning; nine grandchildren, Adriana Chambless, Lauren and Logan Robin, Jacob Cook, Aubrey, Kinley and Landry Pryor and Jack and Meri Manning; one great-grandson, Atlas Preciado; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.
I gave you my love,
And you can only guess how much you've given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled alone.
So grieve a while, if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
That it is only for a while that we must part.
