My heart is shattered. We lost touch over time but I´ve been looking for you for years. A sweet, loving and loyal soul!! Blessed to of known her.

You will be missed Jewel you was a very good friend at the library with your sense of humor and your nice smile RIP

Being on this planet for the length of time that I have the Swint's have always been a part of my life, right there on lippert road. Such glorious times back then. Losing any of you is losing a part of myself. The name Jewel could not of been more fitting for the Queen who just recently went to be present with the Lord, she was a diamond a ruby, and gold all rolled in one. Mother Gloria, thank you and Bro James Swint for blessing us with all your children. I love you all. May God keep you and comfort you.

To Mother Swint & Family. I was truly sadden to hear about the death of Jewel. I remember Jewel when she was a little girl, very quiet. I grew up with Edward & Lenora. Lenora was my best friend. My family moved to Connecticut but Lenora & I still kepted in touch until her death in 1975. Just know Mother Swint that you & your family are in my prayers. I know that you know that God does not make any mistakes. For all that you've been through, you've always showed yourself strong and He will give you the strength that you need for such a time as this as well.

I was very sadden to here about Jewel's passing. I've known Jewel for over half my life, she had a smile that would brighten up your whole day. I am very saddened to hear about Jewels passing. Jewel was a classmate of mine at McKinley. She was the sweetest and nicest person I have ever known. I would look forward to seeing her at school, becuase she would help encourage me in my most toughtest moments in high school. I will never forget her, she is always in my memories. I know she is in heaven looking down on us.

I miss you so much you've watch me grow from a small child into a young lady. You were in my life for over 15 years and I'm devastated you were taken so soon. You fought a long hard battle and you can rest now. I know that you and my dad are looking down on me...I miss you so much Jewel "mom" Rest In Peace.

When I was told this yesterday by Daneia my heart sank to the pit of my stomach!!!! I truly loved this woman and I know she loved me. There was never a day that she didnt speak to me and greet me with such a radiant beautiful smile..I always thought of her but I'm very sad that I didnt get to see her before she passed on. To the Swint family, we've been so close since I can remember and my prayers are with you all. Jewell and I were classmate at McKinley High School we always spoke to each other as we pass by in the hallway. Even thou, I didn't see much of her after high school, I will miss her dearly. My prayers and thoughts are with her and her family.

I was sad to hear that Jewell had passed away. I can truly say that she was one of the nicest persons that I've known, always a smile and a hug, full of joy and a kind word, always a pleasure. Though she will be missed and you are feeling the sorrow and pain of her passing, we know that she is resting in the Lord and we shall see her again!

I must share the last time I saw Jewell...when my Dad passed away...I went to the airport to pick up my Aunt...I kept telling my niece that I need to see Jewell...long story short...when I got home from the airport, Jewell and Mother Swint were there...God had sent her/them...we just hugged and cried...she lifted my burdens for what I was about to endure...Jewell keep shining brightly. I worked in the same library system as Jewell. Although I never actually worked with her at the same location, I would always bump into her when I was out and about. She would always give me a big hug and smile. I will really miss this sweet person!

Jewell was a wonderful person and everyone who was lucky enough to know her was truly blessed. She will be missed! My deepest sympathy to the family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jewell's passing. We have such great memories from when I lived next to you guys. I ran into Jewell while she was working the bookmobile at Springwood Camp Club and we were going to get together and it just never happened. I sure wish we would of.
