Lazo, Jerome Edward Navy Veteran of WWII and The Korean War, beloved husband of Mary (nee Durkin), loving father of Donna (John) Swift, Rebecca Sciacca, and Jerome S. (Bette) Lazo, proud grandfather of Frank, Nicholas, Justin, and Amanda, fond brother of 14. Visitation Monday, from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home, 4950 W. 79th Street, Burbank, IL. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Mr. Lazo was the father of my best friend, Jay, growing up. I spent a lot of time at the Lazo house, and was always well treated by both he and Mrs. Lazo. I stopped to visit for a chat a few times over the years, the most recent a year or two ago. He smiled as he spoke lovingly of his children and grandchildren, and we enjoyed a wonderful conversation. I will always appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Lazo and their kindness toward me.
