I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband/father. The business he started, and which you have carried on so well, helped me and many others to retain some self-confidence and to continue our activities during difficult cancer treatments. You honor his memory by continuing his important work with grace and compassion.

I only knew Jerry through Chuck's eyes, and the Jerry I knew that way was a precious friend. I remember Chuck's last visit with Jerry, which I attended as Chuck's chauffeur. The love and respect between them was palpable. I share your loss of our two fine gentlemen.

I am very sorry about the loss of your father and grandfather. You are all in my thoughts.

It was with much sadness we read of Jerry's passing in the Tribune. He was so ill for such a long time, at least you have the consolation that he is at peace now. You and I go back a long way, June..I even remember inviting you to our wedding and you couldn't come because you were in the hospital giving birth to your daughter on that day. I think we were friends since early grammar school...

I have loved being part of your family for several years as your adopted daughter. I will miss Jerry terribly as he was a wonderful, funny, kind and loving man. You have been his strength, best friend, and loving mate. He told me often how much he loved you. Know I am here for you.

I am greatly saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. He was like a second father to me, and through our monthly appointments over the last 24+ years, I feel like he brought me, my wife, and my children into your family.

Not only did I enjoy his colorful stories and well-crafted jokes, but also getting to know all of you through his eyes (and personally) -- and how proud he was of his children and grand-children.

Jerry was an incredible gentleman, and such a fine human being. Through the years he bolstered my self-esteem and helped me succeed in all my endeavors. He will be sorely missed.
