Rest in peace Jeri, you will be missed more than you could have ever known. Wendy, Eric and Jan, your sorrow is deep but also know it's a shared sorrow. My heartfelt condolences to you all.

Doc was a very special person and I have fond memories of her visits to Columbus for the COMIC bowling tournament. My condolences to Jan, her family and all her friends. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Doc, I knew her from way back in the days of the Scenic Bar where she always sat in the same stool. She was a wonderful lady and know she will be missed by so many.

You were truly a wonderful women. Friend for life no matter how much time passed between seeing each other. I will miss you and cherish are friendship. RIP my friend.

We will all miss our Aunt Jeri ,even though we haven't seen you in years.The Dick kids have great memories of you (crazy ones but good ones)All 8 of us will never forget you ,Uncle Tom,Wendy;and Eric coming over and hanging out.When Grandma was mixed in the bunch it was scare when you two were together,we never knew what you guys would do.I also remember coming to your house to play with Wendy (even though she wouldn't share her Barbie's)and going down the street to get ice cream.Thank you for being there for my family and thank you for being a great Aunt.We will all miss you very much,but your now up there with all your loved ones.We will never forget you and you will be missed until we see you again.Love you and your family.

Doc was a friend, favorite dance partner and a pillar in the community. She will be missed but always remembered. To Wendy, Eric and all the grandchildren that she always bragged about - my deepest sympathies. This was a shock for us all and a very sad one to bear.

The first time I walked into a gay bar I met Doc. I know I had the "deer in the headlights" look. She immediately welcomed me in, introduced me around and made me feel very comfortable and at home. Strangers would walk into R House and leave as family. That is the Doc Effect. Her example prompted patrons to do the same. I will always cherish this memory of Doc, one of the most loving and caring people I have met. You will be missed Doc! My prayers go out to the entire family.

She was a great lady! I will miss her! I met her through my Aunt Pam (Rupp). Doc was part of a great group of ladies that I'm glad I was able to meet and call her my friend! RIP..

Wendy and Eric, so sorry to hear about your mom. Will remember "DOC" for her kindness and humor and all the good times spent bowling and golfing -- especially the good times with the "Wild Bunch" at the state bowling tournaments. Sorry I haven't seen you lately but will remember the good times.

Wendy and Eric, I had the pleasure of having your Mother as a friend since the early eighties. She never heisitated to lend a hand, a kind word and a hug when needed. This has been a great loss for so many that she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am stunned by the loss of this wonderful lady, we haven't had a lot of contact lately but you could do that with her and see her and talk like it was yesterday, She was a true friend to so many we all grieve her loss with you. I am so saddened to learn of Jeri's passing. She was the hub of laughter in high school. She kept everyone in stitches all through the years. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

Doc always knew the right thing to say no matter what the situation was. She got me through some rough patches in my life and can't thank her enough for that. Always thinking of everyone else and how she can enhance their lives even to the simplest things like making some meal to share or burning DVD's she thought you would enjoy. Can't forget that she started the frozen shot glasses! The pic posted I took, and the reverse I'll share is the one she took back of me right after. Love you Doc!

I am so sad to hear of her passing. She was indeed a great person and a joy to be with and I am so blessed to have shared many good times with her on and off the bowling lanes. She brought happiness to all the lives that she touched, she will be truly missed by us all.

A pillar in the LGBT community has been lost. She touched, and changed, many lives. I feel truly blessed to have considered her our friend.

I don't personally know Doc but I do know her daughter Wendy. I have heard a lot of beautiful stories about her. She was a wonderful person. She will truly be missed. RIP Doc, if you were half as wonderful as your daughter, I wish I could have met you.

Doc enough wods can not express the small things you did that have forever changed me, I am so glad our paths were able to cross, love you my friend, God got one more heck of an angel up there.

My thoughts go out to all of Doc's family and friends (and boy did she have a lot of friends). We have lost a wonderful woman and a 2nd mother to many of us including myself. She will be dearly missed by everyone who has crossed her path.
