Grandma, or Jennie was a warm kind hearted person that was willing do to anything for someone. Would give the shirt off her back to give to you. As I look back at all the moments we spent together, grandma was there spoiling me or giving or doing something for me. Mom and Dad said 'NO' grandma always said 'YES' :) I can remember back when Todd & I were little she bought us these huge ballons. She was always there for our special occasions and holidays. I can remember the video tape of her saying they reversed my boxes on me. There were a few tricks we played on grandma. Grandma had a wild side too... drinking and tap dancing. She also had a car accident one time that flipped the car over on its roof... she walked away from that one unharmed. I stayed with grandma in Bridgeport during the summer while I was working at General Mills, she took care of me... cooked whatever I wanted ( sometimes grandmas cooking was a bit difficult to chew). I remembering going to visit grandma in her Tinley condo, taking her to doctor's visits. We talked about old times, prohibition, the great deppression, her work at the can company for a nickel an hour. Grandma lived a long life, some of the struggles she had to endure or the obstacles she had to overcome are over. Grandma I love you. Rest in peace.
