Barry and I were shocked to hear about Jeff. Our deepest condolences go out to his family. We will miss seeing him pull up in the pickup on Friday afternoons with his bag of "surprises" but most of all we'll miss his big sun-tanned smile! He was a great guy and he'll be truly missed.

Was stunned to learn of Jeff's passing. I knew him from his work on the DuPage Library System board. He was a bright person who was an articulate and powerful advocate for libraries. He was also a very nice person. Illinois Libraries will miss him. May your memories be wonderful and last forever.

Of course our family is shocked at the news of Jeff's death. Although many years have passed, he had touched our lives and will be fondly remembered. Our sympathies to the Uhlig family.

To all the Uhlig Family, We were deeply saddened about the news of Jeff's passing. He was a good friend and we loved sharing "farm stuff" with him. He followed his dreams and was a happy and content man for it. He will be greatly missed. Love, Gloria and John Anderson

Dear Dot & Family,My heart goes out to you all as you are going through this most difficult time. I never met Jeff personally, but I heard from his Mom so many wonderful things about him. So remember that God gave us memories so that we could have roses in December, and I am sure you all have hearts full of roses. God Bless you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I have many fond memories of our working together. When I was in Chicago, Jeff always made sure that my time away from my family was a little less lonely by including me in his life. A wonderful man, whom I will deeply miss.

I am glad that I had met such a nice
person like Jeff. He was always caring and always treated everyone with respect and always had a smile on this face. Jeff was a big guy but had a heart of gold. I will always miss his gentleness and kindness along with his laughter. I could not attend the services but my heart and spirit will be with you and your family and with Jeffrey always and forever.

I knew Jeff only briefly in the late summer of 2001. I visited the farm (as a potential customer)and saw how much he cared about all living things. I learned of his passing by reading the obits in the paper. I do not know the details of his death, and did not know his family but my heartfelt sympathy goes out to them.

My deepest sympathy and prayers go with you and your family at this difficult time.
"I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done."
Hugs,
