Kurland, Jean (nee Kier), beloved wife of the late Samuel S., loving mother of Howard (Marlene) and Jeffrey (Pamela), proud grandmother of Heather, Emily, Dan and Alexandra, dear sister of the late Marilyn (the late Milton) Bloom, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Service Friday, 10 a.m., at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Rd., Glencoe. Interment Beth Israel Cemetery-Jewish Waldheim, Forest Park.
