Dear Lester, Nadine, Mr. Karplus and family,

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Karplus. I still think of those many times I spent in your living room, me struggling to play through my oboe solos for contest, your mom my accompanist. She was always so gracious, patient and kind while I squeaked my way through the pieces. She was the reason for my blue ribbon medals! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. God's peace.

Dear Nadine and family,

My mom let me know that your mom had passed away. Your mom was a neat lady and I always enjoyed talking to her, especially listening to her wonderful accent! I hadn't seen her in years so she will always remain young in my mind! Please know that all of you are in my prayers and have my deepest sympathy on your loss of such a wonderful woman.

Hugs, Nadine!
