Jean Johnson Obituary

Johnson, Jean (nee Adams) Daughter of the late Walter and Theresa Adams; devoted mother of Jill Rissi, Karen Renzi (Jeffrey Jarosky), Bruce (Sheila) Michaels and Jan Presco; amazing grandmother of Kathleen and Laura Rissi, Brian (fiancee' Victoria) and Michael Renzi, Luke, Dean and Garrett Michaels and Tyler and Samantha Presco; beloved sister of Mary (Charlie) Fenolio and Robert (Mary) Adams. Her children's heartfelt gratitude goes out to all those families and legions of friends who joined us during Mom's amazing, beautiful and final journey on this earth. Your expressions of love and laughter allow her to rest peacefully and bravely send her on her way home. The gestures of kindness, caring and love will never be forgotten. Thank you to Jean's "other kids", the Johnson's, the Adams' and the Hill's, for the unconditional and unending support - for the games, the tears, the laughter, the prayers, the stories and the songs. She loved you all from the top of her head to the bottom of her gold polished toes. No funeral services will be held as Jean's love for learning and research continues. She has generously donated her body to science. A memorial gathering will be planned for the near future.

Jean,
You were an incredible co-worker and an even better friend. You never failed to light up any room you entered. You always had a hug for everyone. Even in work venues where that kind of thing was against the "rules of the house!" Just thinking about some of those times has brought a smile to my face. You will be truly missed. God bless.
