Dear Diana,

Your mother meant so much to my dad, who passed away two years ago. Jean would send him this delicious Polish cake (can't spell it) and in the middle of the night, when dad was bed ridden for four months, he would want a "Punskey (sp?) Party". Even at 3 or 4 in the morning, I would toast the cake and serve it to dad and we would have a "party" together. It was one of the great memories I was able to share with my dad during his last months, thanks to Jean. Dad called her several times during those last months, just to talk and let her know how much family was important. May you have many good memories of your mother from years past. She had a very kind and thoughtful heart...that finally gave out on this earth. With my love to your family, Michele
