To the Avakian Family:
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this very sad time. It is always very difficult to lose a family member, especially a parent. Cousin Jean has been on my mind during this entire month of October; yet I have not visited with her since the late 1950's. God works in mysterious ways as I have been feeling compelled to find all my family members these past several weeks. Jean was the only first cousin left; and, now tonight I find for the first time this information about my only "first cousin" that was left here on earth. We will meet again. I now type as the tears flow. I imagine you are wondering who I am. My Father (circa 1904-1982) was Merlin Haag, Jean's Uncle Merlin. Her Father Edmund Haag was my Father's older brother; their parents, (Jean and my Grandparents, Jon and Emma also had three other children, Forest, Ella, and Lilah. I was born on Aunt Estelle's birthday, May 10. Please know I send my condolences. You can find me on Facebook by typying my name Maureen Chesney-Brown. I did try to befriend David, but did not receive a response. I have so many great memories to share with you about the our childhood fun and the beautiful wedding I attended celebrating Jean and Vaughn's wedding. Looking forward to hearing from a second or third cousin out there.
Sending Blessings and Lots of Aloha and Love.

Dear Aunt Jean,
Long ago you and Uncle Doc played for our wedding...that's always been a very special memory. Now at last you both play so beautifully with the angels.
Love you both,
Meg
