James Wilder Obituary

James Patrick WILDER Jim passed away at his home in Mill Creek on May 6, 2007 after struggling the last few years with cancer and heart disease. Jim was born in Seattle to Paul "Buck" and Patricia Wilder (both deceased) on July 13, 1952. He attended St. Catherine's Grade School, Seattle Prep and Roosevelt High School. He moved to Mill Creek with his wife, Andrea, in 1987. Jim worked for many years at Renton Coil and Spring. Jim was an avid sports enthusiast finding great pleasure in channel surfing as many as six different sports programs at a time. He loved discussing stats, averages and the prospects of up and coming rookies. He also loved fishing, golf and family gatherings. Jim will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Andrea, and sons, Christopher, Ryan and Sean. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Michele, Pauline, Bryan, John (Janie) and Julie (Eric). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine's Parish, 8610 8th Ave. NE, Seattle. Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I used to work with him at Renton Coil and he was one of my favorites. I enjoyed harrasing and trying to get a chuckle out of him. My nickname for him was "Jimmy Joe Bob" and he always answered to it and soon I was not the only one that called him that. He was my friend and I have missed him since leaving RCS. Condolences to the family.
