James Voce Obituary

Voce, James D. James D. Voce, age 89, of South Holland, IL, formerly of Eveleth, MN, peacefully passed away on Friday, April, 15, 2011 with his cherished family at his side. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Ellen (nee Canna); precious daughter Suzanne Voce; dear brothers and sister: John, Arthur, Edward, Daniel and Patricia Mace and numerous fond nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents: Marco and Catherine (nee Goglio) and brother Albert. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 700 E. 170th Street, South Holland, IL 60473 with a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial followed by entombment at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8:30 P.M. at Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 S. Torrence Avenue, Lansing, IL 60438 and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at the Church. In honor of Jimmy's love of nature, memorials may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation at www.arborday.org. where a tree can be planted in one of our National Forests in his memory.
