Peggy and John- I'm so sorry to have read of your Father's passing. Quite possibly, as John and I were moving towards Normal, with Peggy providing us with additional inspiration, our fathers could've sat fairly close to each other and shared a conversation. I'll tell Stuart Cornish. Again, my condolences.

Dear Rhoda,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences upon Jim's death. He had a robust zest for life, a great sense of humor, a critical mind and respect for the law which he practiced with integrity and honor. Most of all, he shared his love for you with the families that merged when you married.
He would have been proud and grateful that because of you his final months and days were spent within sight of a beautiful ocean and with the help of kind and competent caregivers.
Although we will not be able to join you in Chicago this week, we will be with you and the family in spirit.
Love, Mike, Arlene, Kari and Lisa

I am saddened by the passing of Jim Sweeney, who I knew as a fellow patent lawyer. I always enjoyed the functions we attended and participated in together sponsored by the Patent Law Association of Chciago. His wit and charm was something that continually impressed me. His love and respect for his brethren and his practice was a model for us all. My heartfelt sympathy is extended to his family and loved ones.
