82, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
He is survived by his children, Jamie Dorsey (Marq), Manuel Hayes, Jacqueline Smith, James Smith III (Angelica), Jovanna Smith, and Justin Smith (L'Eugenia); siblings,Thomas Smith(Dorothy), Bertha Smith Clark, Walter Smith (Ilona), and Velma Smith; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation: 11am -1pm Monday at A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St, with the funeral service to follow at 1pm, burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.

I am so glad we talked a good while about one month ago. You had so many family history stories to share and you presented them in your usual way, full of laughter and unspeakable joy. Bubba we are saddened right now but we delight to know that you are in the presence of the Lord and we will see you again.
