Purcell, James E. 65, beloved husband of Sharon (nee Panke), loving father of James P., Kathleen, Thomas (Lauri), and Patricia (Timothy) Opel, devoted grandfather of Nicole, Melissa, Paige, and the late Ashley. Funeral Monday, April 10, at 9:15 a.m. from Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, to St. Juliana Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 143 for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
