James Moates Obituary

James Franklin "Frank" Moates Sr., 76, of Rockwood, Tennessee, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, operator of many businesses, passed at Rockwood Health Care Center on Saturday, January 27, 2001. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29, 2001, 6-9 p.m., at Kyker Funeral Homes J.S. Kyker & Sons, Inc., 350 West Race Street, Kingston, Tennessee. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Mark McCoig. Burial will be at Kingston Memorial Gardens. Full military honors will be conferred by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Hospitality House at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, 510 North Jackson Street, Morristown, TN 37814.
