James Minear Obituary

James Franklin Minear, 70, of Worthington, passed away May 9, 2005, at the Fairmont General Hospital. He was born in Hutchinson, on September 22, 1934, a son of the late Jess and Kathryn Virginia Yeager Minear. Mr. Minear is survived by one son, Donald J. Minear and wife Jayne Beth of Hutchinson; one daughter, Pam Wright of Fl; one grandson, Jesse James Minear; two granddaughters, Amy Minear and Jennifer Wright both of FL; five great grandchildren; one sister, Judy Reed and husband Rick of Salem; two nephews, Steven Russell of Morgantown and Trevin Russell of Fairmont; two nieces Kathy Brown of Clarksburg and Kelly Carpenter of Fairmont and several great nieces and nephews. Mr. Minear was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Minear; one sister, Helen Russell and one nephew, Scott Russell. Mr. Minear was a retired coal miner having worked for Williams Mines Consol #98. At Mr. Minear’s request, he will be cremated. There will be no visitation or service. Dorsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
