Mrs. McNaughton, I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I worked for Mr. McNaughton when he opened his first model home in Saddlebrook (way back when). I cannot say enough good things about your husband and am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family and may He help carry you on your journey through these troubling times ahead.

McNaughton Family:

My condolences on the death of Mr. McNaughton. Jim was a true gentleman and represented the best traditions of his industry. Sadly, his vision and pride in his business was cut short by the times that we live in and his illness. Jim was a kind and gracious gentleman and will be missed in his field.

McNaughton Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Jim. I did not know him personally, only his brother Paul. Being a younger builder I considered James McNaughton to be one of the best in the business and an example of what a reputable home building company should be. I am sure he will be missed.

Karen,
We were so sorry to hear about Jim... we have been out of town, and our mutual friends were having a hard time deciding how to tell my husband, Randy, the news...those mutual friends had put Randy and Jim together as both shared the same diagnosis and doctors, Randy was so glad that they met, Jim was so positive and had such a great attitude, it gave Randy much needed confidence... I just wanted you to know how much it meant to Randy, and that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers...

Karen,

We were so sadden to hear of Jimmy's passing. I have thought of him and our families so much since then and of all the wonderful memories we had at family gatherings. I still tell the story often of Jay Anderson's telling of meeting Jimmy at Dad's Day at the U of I and asking if he knew Ronnnnie Veeeeenstra that lived in Robinson. At least that's Jay story and you know how he can tell them. I can only imagine all the many many memories each of you have and will always cherish.

Our best and much love to all,

Ron and Becky Veenstra

It was sad to hear this morning in church that Jim passed away. Last week Paul and Lynette had a prayer request for him and one was given today for all of your family in this time of great sorrow. Of course your family has been connected to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Palos Heights since childhood days with many fond memories.
My deepest sympathy to Jim's wife Karen and family and to all members of the McNaughton family. Special thoughts to Paul and Lynette and Karen
Reilley who I have been more closely connected to through the years.
