Dear McCool Family,

I just received the notice to find a new dentist and was surprised and saddened. Dr McCool was my dentist for over 20 years and like his other patients, I soon felt like we were friends. He loved sharing stories of his wonderful family, who it was so evident that he loved abundantly. He helped with our last family vacation to Glacier National Park, talking about his visit and giving some suggestions. My prayers are with you; I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Jim McCool family, We are shocked, and, saddened to hear of the loss of a dear friend, our dentist, and, a true confidant. We knew Jim as his patients, and, considered him a true friend. Jim was always cheerful, funny, and, interested in how his patients were doing. He always had the good of his friends, and, patients in mind, and, his work proved that to us so many times. We were unable to attend any service for him because Donna was in the hospital with a mini stroke, followed by brain surgery for a malignant tumor. We know there is no one who will be able to replace him, and, we miss him very much. We extend our sincerest sympathy to his family, and, have no words that will make his loss any the less painful. My wife Donna's heart truly aches for you.

Dear McCool family,
I just received call today. I am so sorry for your loss. He has been my one and only dentist for 40 years and I will really miss him. He told me so many stories over the years about your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He was a kind, funny, thoughtful man.

Dear McCool Family,

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family as I just heard of this news. I met Jim 22 years ago when he was a Boy Scout volunteer. He became my dentist, later my wife's dentist and later our kids too. More than that he was a dear friend. He never stopped making me laugh and brightening up my day everytime I saw him. A few years back he even took my son and I to a nearby hobby store to help me set up my son's train set. There was noting he wouldn't do to be a loyal friend. He was truly a kind, sincere, and humble man who will be dearly missed. We pray that God gives you peace during this difficult time. Kind regards.

Mary, John, and Naomi, please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My brother Gary called me yesterday and I was of course shocked and saddened. We had just been to Huntsville to visit my mother, and she, Judy and I were just talking last week how Doc and Naomi were friends with my parents for many years, and so naturally Jim, John and I spent a lot of time as children playing and growing up together in Warren. In high school we ran track and played basketball together ..... but when Mary came along ....... well, Jim was beyond smitten and we all know how that turned out. Mary, he loved you so much!! Please try to think only about the wonderful memories to ease your loss. Best regards Rick and Judy Rowe

Dear McCool Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget all the stories my dad always shared about "McCool" (never referred to him as Jim, always "McCool"). From his coonskin hat to his headdress, Jim always had a way of standing out while having the time of his life, and he most certainly will be remembered for it. It was very much a pleasure knowing Jim and growing up 2 (now 3) doors down. I'm very sorry I was unable to make it to the services to pay my respects. I hope the best for your family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot begin to describe the loss of my dentist who became a friend over the years from the Golf Mill days to the present. We knew each others families thru many appointment talks; talked about our children as they grew from infants to adults. His love for Mary, Ryan and Meg and the grandkids shone brightly through over the years that went to fast. His kindness to my father who needed dentures replaced when lost by the nursing home will not be forgotten by my family. So much more could be said.

To the McCool family, my deepest sympathy. Know he will be deeply missed by his patient family.
