James Edward "Oscar" Larsen. Age 77. Lifelong Hegewisch/St Columba Parish resident. Passed away peacefully July 18, 2025. Graduate of Mendel Catholic High School. United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Worked at U.S. Steel Supply in Burnham retiring in 2013 from Atlas Tube Company. Loving partner of Michele "Micki" Maglis. Son of the late Lorraine nee Sapinski and Edward Larsen. Brother of the late Judy Sapinski. Brother-in-law of Mary Kay (late Don) Lepore. Uncle of Kristi (Tim) Peters and Tony Lepore. Great Uncle of Taylor, Khloe, Tori, Kaitlyn (also his Godchild), Kendall and Vinny. Faithful companion of MJ. Best friend for many years of John Abrams. Friend of many.
