We are very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim and I had many memorable fishing and hunting excursions. I'm sure his time in the outdoors was very precious to him. Our most heartfelt condolences to Lorrie and all of Jim's family. Rick and Jane Evans

My condolances go to the Kranz family. I worked with Jim at the Belt RR of Chicago. He took me under his wing and taught me most of what I know about being a Signalman. He also had a knack for teaching people to do the job right and treat it as if you were working on your own home. He took great pride in his work and that is a great thing to be measured by as a man. Maybe the most important thing he did for me though was, he put a smile on my face everyday at work. He had a great sense of humor and that will be surely missed.
