I personaly did not know Father Keating. He was a friend of my Dads.Charles (Bud ) Schultz,They grew up together in St Laurence Parish in Chicago. He said mass when my parents ( Bud and Lill) got married in 1937 at St Philip Neri for them. He also said mass for my Grandma Mary Schultz in 1959 and my Dad in 1964 when they died. My Mom just died in Oct and while going through her things I ran across pictures my Gram had and there was a picture of Father James after he was newly ordained. It was sad reading about his passing but he had a long good life just like my Mom had. I will keep him in my prayers as I am sure he did my Gram and Dad all these years.

You were an inspiration to us all. You taught so much to the kids of St.Hugh. You will be missed greatly.
