Grimm, Glen Francis

Glen Francis Grimm, 62, of Oswego, IL, passed away March 1, 2026. Born and raised in Chicago, beloved son of Dorothy Catherine Margaret & John "Bud" Grimm. Cherished brother of Gaylyn Pollard and Greg Grimm, fun-loving uncle and cousin to many. Glen earned the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated from St. Laurence High School & St. Xavier University before planting roots in Oswego, IL. Glen was a proud and devoted father to Lauren GrimmLane (Jenna), Jackie Westman (Tyler), and Natalie Grimm. Of all the titles he held, "Grandpa" may have been his favorite. He adored his grandson, Oakley, who brought him endless joy and laughter & loved his grand-puppies. Glen loved being a dad and was incredibly proud of his princesses. He loved coaching them and being involved in their activities, serving as Commissioner of Oswego Sugar & Spice Softball League for years. He began his career with British Steel, then dedicated 20 years of hard work to Constellation Energy. Glen took pride in his work and in the friendships he formed along the way. In true Glen fashion, he would want us to keep laughing, gathering, and take care of one another. He will be forever loved, always remembered, and never forgotten. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory 1801 South Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Funeral Thursday, March 5, 2026 9:15 am chapel prayers to a 10:00 am mass of Christian burial at St. Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder HIll Pass, Oswego, IL 60543.
