James E. Haviland, age 77; of Downers Grove, formerly of Hinsdale. Former husband of the late Mickey Clark Haviland; loving son of the late Thomas E. Haviland and the late Louise Lorenz Haviland; cherished father of Colleen (Jesse) Sullivan and Jamie (Kristin) Haviland; proudest Papa of Madeline, Emily, Ryan, Tyler, Quincy, and Shannon; dear brother of Martha, Hope and the late Nick, Katherine, and Thomas; fond uncle of many. Colleen and Jamie, I am saddened to hear of Uncle Jim´s/your dad´s passing. He was always so good about being there for my dad during his illness, and he kept in touch by remembering to wish us a Merry Christmas or Happy first day of summer or whatever the occasion. Our thoughts are with you all.

Colleen and Jamie I am so truly sorry to hear about your father's passing. Uncle Jim was always the cutest and best Haviland uncle. So sad that we are old enough now to only reconnect over funerals... please let me know when the memorial service will be held so I can represent the Traver family and pay our respects to Uncle Jim.
