James Grider Obituary

I would like to wish my condolences to the Grider family. Dr. Greer was my dentist for about 20 years and he was the best. He will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers.

My prayers and condolences to the family on the loss of this great man and The World's Greatest Dentist! I will miss you Dr. Grider! I will miss your professionalism, your kindness, your patience and your understanding but most of all I will miss seeing you run around the office with so much energy. Dr Grider was more than a dentist. He was a friend. I've known him for over 30 years. When I was pregnant with my daughter & needed an x-ray he took the care to cover my belly with multiple safety vests. When I had tooth issues he even gave me his home number if I needed him. My heart is saddened by the loss of my friend. I'm sending my thoughts, prayers & love to his family and friends. He will truly be missed. Fly with the angels Jim

I am filled with sadness hearing that Dr. Grider is no longer with us. He was our family dentist for years. His ability to put you at ease and make you laugh was amazing. He was an excellent professional and an extremely kind, fair and empathetic individual. We will miss him dearly. The world was a better place with Dr. Grider. My thoughts and prayers are with his children. Your father left you a great legacy. He gave you the strength to carry on.

There are no words that I can say, your father is a very strong man, how he kept everything together after mom, he always talked about the summer home, he always said that mom was looking down watching and giving him strength. So sorry for you loss. Rest In Peace

My sincere condolences on the passing of this fine man. My late husband and I had been his patients for many years....a fantastic dentist , he was
kind, caring and even these last months had an amazing positive attitude. He will truly be missed.

Dr Grider has been a customer at the place I work for a couple years now. We have gotten pretty close over the years he was an amazing man. Also I went to highschool with Austin. I´m so sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace.

Heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of our good neighbor two doors down. We will always remember he and his late wife being the first to welcome us to the neighborhood seven years ago. He will be missed by many. Rest in Peace.

Sincere condolences to the Grider family. Though I had not seen Jim in a couple of years, I knew him well through friends from the time he was at Loyola, and went to many a concert with Jim as well as competing in football pools. Jim's constant positivity and humor even in adversity will be sorely missed by the many lives he touched along the way. If there is fishing in Heaven I am sure he already has his line in the water.

It was my good fortune to have met Dr. Grider over 30 years ago on a business level. I was subsequently blessed with a friendship with Dr. Grider that I shall always cherish and remember as he was one of the absolute finest people I´ve ever encountered in my entire life.
My heartfelt condolences go out to all his family and friends. The world was a better place with Dr. Grider, and now so is Heaven.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Grider for over ten years. When you sat in his chair you could trust you were taken care of. I will remember him the most for his kindness, he was such a genuine person. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, he will be missed.

You were more than our dentist, you were our friend. You provided services to three generation of Mason girls. We will miss you dearly. You were such a great person in addition to being most fantastic dentist any one could have. We love you, Rest In Peace. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family. Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel right now. Dr. Grider radiated love and compassion to all those he served. He embraced family. He was family to our family. He found light and life in everything. We will carry him in our hearts forever. May God comfort your hearts .

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. I will always remember him from the old neighborhood, us playing whiffle ball in the street in front of the house. He was always so kind and his memory will brighten my day when I think of those times.
