James Grenda Obituary
James M. Grenda, age 79, of Oak Forest, passed away July 31, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Grenda, nee Grochowski, for 57 years. Loving father of Gary (Patty) Grenda, Sr., Sue ( Jeffrey) Vaitkus, Janet McClew, and Brian (Maureen) Grenda. Cherished grandfather of Gary Grenda, Jr., Mike Grenda, Tyler McClew, Maddie Grenda, and Delaney Grenda. Dear brother of Dave (Fran) Grenda, and the late Larry (Theresa) Grenda. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. James was the proprietor of, That's A Nice Wedding Service, in Oak Forest for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing golf in his spare time. James will be dearly missed by his cousins and all who knew him. Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Forest, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in James's name may be made to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org. For information: 708-687-2990

Dearest Mary Ann and family
John and I are sending our deepest sympathy, Jim was a good friend and always had a wonderful smile, will always remember him sharing his cigar boxes with John. Prayers coming for you all that God will grant you strength and peace of mind during this difficult time. Jim is now enjoying his new promised pain free life with the Lord at that great heavenly banquet table till one day you'll all meet again. Prayers and love
