James Gleeson Obituary

Gleeson, James "Skip" Devoted son of the late Katherine and Martin Gleeson; dear brother of eleven siblings, the late Thomas, Josephine, John(Rita), Martin, Winifred (Richard Strubin), William, Mary (Richard Van Dyke), Katherine (Jerome Curran), Margaret (Bernard Williams), survived by Therese (wife of Martin) Philip (Kathleen), Helen (Lionel Schlicht). Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. James served honorably in the United States Army and had an admirable career with the Chicago Fire Department. He was an active and influential member of his family always willing to lend a helping hand, leaving behind many treasured memories. A Visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL with a Funeral Service following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
