James Galocy Obituary

Galocy, James Andrew "Jimmy G.", age 31, of Chicago, IL., formerly of Crown Point, IN., passed away June 29, 2002. Jim came into this world on January 12, 1971. He stayed for such a short time. He leaves behind to forever miss him: mother, Pat Kindler; father, Jim Galocy; sisters, Kimberly Galocy, Debbie Galocy and Tricia Galocy; fiancee, Vlada Nakhlis; grandparents, Anthony and Helen Cmielewski; aunts and uncles, John Galocy, Rose and Pete Mikan, Dennis and Sandy Dean and John and Ann Schymanoshe, numerous cousins and friends, preceded in death by: grandmother, Helen Galocy; uncle, Keko Galocy and aunt, Loretta Galocy. Funeral services Wednesday, July 3, 2002, 11 a.m., Geisen Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Anderson officiating. Burial St. Mary Cemetery, Crown Point, IN. Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home, 109 N. East St., Crown Point, Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jim was currently a bartender at Uffa Restaurant in Chicago, IL. and was attending DeVry Institute. He also worked the last 15 years in the music industry as a stage and production manager, touring the United States, Europe and Japan. Jim was an excellent golfer, loved hockey and was an avid sports enthusiast. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. For information, call 219-663-2500.
