James Coulas Obituary

To the Coulas Family,

I have always timed my haircuts at Sean's Hairstyling to coincide with James Coulas,Sr and Jr's appointment on Saturdays. My Saturdays will not be the same with the passing of Jim Coulas, Sr. At any rate, please accept my deepest condolences for one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a great role model all of us should follow.

I was saddened to hear of James' passing. My condolences to all of you. My fondest memory was seeing him on his way to work as I was jogging or riding on 91st street early in the morning and we would wave to each other. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers

It was with great sadness when I read about the passing of James Coulas. I provided the entertainment for many years for him at his annual Christmas party. Jim and his wife were such great hosts. It was an honor to also perform at his 90th birthday party.
He will be missed.

Weldbend and your father have been a part of my career for over 30 years. That business relationship has also been personal because you and your father always took time to care about building friendships.
Mr. Coulas Sr. was an icon to the industry and will always be remembered by anyone that ever met him. I will keep the Coulas family in my prayers.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you all during this sad time. We will always remember Mr. Coulas as one of the most kind and benevolent men we have known. His kindness to me (Mary Beth) as a child was overwhelming, and to our family (as adults) at the time of Agnes' and then mom's passing, is a memory we hold near and dear to our hearts. I was so sorry to hear that Mr. Coulas had passed. I knew him my days at Butler Aviation. He was a very kind and down to earth man. He once told me that with all his work and fame in the business world, it means nothing compared to having family. He was a wise man and I will never forget him.

God opened the gates of Heaven and allowed Mr. James J. Coulas, Sr. a well deserved entry.
