Apato, James R. beloved husband of Leona "Dolly" (nee Gombac), loving brother of Marilyn Lee, the late Robert and Jean Apato and the late Florence (Richard) Samuel, cherished brother-in-law of the late John and Jean Gombac, adoring uncle of many nieces and nephews, wonderful friend to many. Jimmy and his wife "Dolly," lived a truly blissful marriage for 56 years. He loved telling his friends stories of his past to the present life that brought him so many beautiful memories. He was an American that loved his country in which in WW11 fought nine campaigns, wounded twice and received the purple heart. Jimmy, you will be missed by many.
