Weiner, Jack age 85, was in the Scrap Metal Business for 50 years, beloved husband of the late Marcia (nee Kushner), loving father of Larry (Diane) and the late Howard and Alan (Wendy), adored grandfather of Stephanie (Matt) Frankel, Brian, Jennifer (Eyuka) Hayashi, Cara, Jamie, Lea and the late Daniel, proud great-grandfather of Jacob and Drew Frankel, cherished brother of Nora (the late Marty) Gordon, Adelyn Weiner and the late Clara (the late Sam) Bernfeld. Graveside service Thursday, 1 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer's Assoc. Info: The Goldman Funeral Group, Irwin Goldman Funeral Director, 847-478-1600.

Dear Uncle Jack
I am always thinking about you all! I was so shocked to hear of your tragic passing! I always have great memories of you & Auntie Marsha coming to visit us in LA & you'd bring such fabulous cakes & food kosher hot dogs salami etc for us! Always fun when u came to visit us & stay!
I miss all those family times! I hope this isn't dumb of me to write all this!

Jack Weiner and my late father (Harry Wilson) who passed away in APR 1978 were partners in the Junk business in the late 1940's, very early 1950's on the westside.

We lived on Douglas Blvd. until MAR 1952.

My Mom is Risalyn.

We are very sorry to hear of Jack's passing.
