I think I can speak for many, many DePaul students who profited immensely from
having studied under Jack. He was a noble man in a highly noble profession. He was
a remarkably gifted educator who taught me many valuable lessons about people and
working together with them. Whenever I meet a DePaul alum, I always ask them if
they took a management class from Jack. Those who did always look back
fondly on having him as their professor. He taught us to be better listeners, better
communicators, better managers, and ultimately, better people. I am very sorry that
you have lost such a wonderful man, but rest assured, by having such a positive and
far-reaching impact on his students, Jack will live on in all of us who were honored
to have him as a teacher. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

Dear Joan and family,
I just heard of Jack's passing. He meant alot to those who knew him. He always brought the best out in other people. He made us laugh at ourselves, and take a second look at what was important in life. I am grateful that he was a part of my life, but will miss the " gentle giant".
Our love goes out to you.
With sympathy, Jane

I was so very sorry to read about Jack; he was a colleague and friend at DePaul, and I am sure all of those who were his students and those of us who were his friends will miss him

Dear Judy and Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Jack's passing. Would not have know if Chuck wasn't browsing through the Obituaries Sunday Morning. Haven't seen you guys in quite awhile but every once in a while you do come up in our minds. We have been associated with the Grossman's since your move to Deerfield and then some. Jack was a wonderful person and always a joy to be with. Judy, you have our deepest and sincerist condolences. We will not be able to attend the Memorial service but will be with you there in spirit. May God bless you and comfort you in your loss.
Please be aware that you will be in the Caruso prayers.
