I remember the time Uncle Jack visited us in Indianapolis and brought engaging stories of his travels. He took an interest in the boys and their ball games and shared his own stories of playing ball. He, as always, had a way of making all feel very comfortable. I truly enjoyed that visit.

He loved to build things, make them better just like my Dad. Loved to ride my bike over the ridge to visit Uncle Jack in Kenilworth at the house he built. My Dad was always so proud of Jack and his building efforts. Glad to have shared some chocolate with him at the nursing home. He really liked chocolate. Love Anne

I will always remember Jack standing with Vivian at our house, ready for a night on the town with mom and dad (Jim & Carrie). As a very young boy, I will always remember his good humor, and his teaching me how to fold a dollar bill into a ring.

I remember dear, dear Uncle Jack as a young man, when he took me, as a 5-year-old, to his dark room in Grandma's basement & let me watch him develop film. I told him about that memory on a recent visit, & he said that he remembered those days too. Such a dear, gentle man. Love, Edie
