To the O'Hara family

I just learned about Tom's passing. My deepest sympathy's .

Tom and I were close friends in high school. I also worked with Tom for a couple summers, painting mostly Chicago public schools, while at O'Hara Decorating.

Tom was an awesome guy and we had a lot of great, great times.

I shall miss him, but keep him in my memories.

To Kathy, Pat, Patti, Erin, Bridget, and the entire O'Hara Family,

Tom O'Hara was bigger than life and certainly gave cancer a run for the money. I am certain that Tom is now getting his answers from God and he is probably giving God a challenge. I can see your saintly mother saying, "Now Tom, don't talk that way to God."

What peace and joy we have in the believing in the everlasting life. Tom is safely home.

Sincerely,
Margie Irwin Mostyn

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I have not seen or talked to Tom in 20 years. We went to Holy Redeemer and Brother Rice together many years ago,and we had some good times together as young men growing up in Evergreen Park.I remember playing cards in the O'Hara's basement and softball games at Holy Redeemer. Stealing our parents cars, some parties on weekends, a little beer,(maybe a lot of beer)and always a lot of laughs. Tom had a lot of good friends and was a good friend. I wish I would have stayed in touch with him. I will miss him. God be with him and my prayers are with your family.
