J Arben Jolley Vernal, Utah Joseph Arben Jolley, age 89, died December 27,2005. He was born Feb. 14, 1916 in Tropic, Utah to Jesse Levi and Mary Leona Johnson Jolley. He married Barbara Kirkham December 2, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Among other businesses, he was the owner and operator of the Vernal Mortuary, Vernal Utah; member of many Vernal civic groups including the Vernal Lion's Club; Veteran World War II; belongs to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survived by his wife, Vernal, UT; daughter, Kathleen (Jim) Fox, Otis Orchards, WA; sons: Robert (Cheryl), Richard (Lisa), William (Marilyn), all of Vernal; Stephen (Terrie) Jolley, Phoenix, AZ, daughter-in-law, Margene Jolley. Preceded in death by a son, Kirk Jolley. Funeral services Saturday, 11:00am at the Maeser Stake Center, 2745 W. 1000 N., Vernal, where friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 10-10:45 AM.
