Isabel Mejia Obituary
PHARR - Isabel Ofelia Mejia, 82, was called by our dear Lord on Monday, April 2, 2008, in McAllen, TX. She was born to †Antonio Cavazos and †Simona Sendejo on November 19, 1925 in McAllen, TX.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Cristobal Mejia; and a granddaughter, Elisa Chavez.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Omar (Josefina) Mejia of Austin, TX and Ruben (Lucilia) Mejia of Pharr, TX; her daughters, Maria Aracely (Alfredo) Menchaca of Edinburg, TX, Martha Maricela Lozano of San Juan, TX, Alma Alicia Bocanegra of Alamo, TX, Noelia (Enrique) Lopez of Pharr, TX, Bertha Leticia Mejia of Houston, TX, Delia Alonzo of Pharr, TX and Lupe Janie Mejia of McAllen, TX. Also left to cherish her memory are forty seven grandchildren; eighty-eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held today, Thursday, April 3, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen, TX. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen, TX. Internment will follow to Hidalgo City Cemetery in Hidalgo, TX. The family has entrusted all funeral arrangements to Ceballos Funeral Home of McAllen, Texas.

I have memories in my pocket.

They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
