Ringel, Irving M. 89, beloved husband of Lois (nee Epstein); loving father Dr. Marc (Kathleen), Dr. Paul (Dr. Michele Lorand) and Susan (Gary) Segal; cherished "boompah" of Eli, Jack, Malika, Lillian and Sam Ringel and Emily and Julia Segal; dear brother of the late Charlotte (the late Murray) Franklin; Irving was loved by many friends. Funeral Service Today 11 a.m. at Am Yisrael Synagogue, 4 Happ Rd., Northfield, IL. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago, IL. Pleasure in every visit bringing stones or rings from and back to Bennett Brothers 1966 to 1973. Irving was always a wonderful stop for a foreign student at CSU

I was a student in 1969 to 1974 and worked for his client Bennett Bros. My glasses got broken in a mugging. I have never forgotten how he got me new contacts that didn’t work then paid for glasses. He was a pleasure to visit almost daily

Sue, Lois, Marc and Paul, My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Irv was always so charming when I saw him, his warmth actually reached out to you when he entered a room. My husband and I are active in the local ALS chapters as we have dear friends still fighting this disease.
