Irene Walley Obituary

Irene E. Walley, 77, of London, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at her home. The daughter of Alonzo and Myrtle Mae Branum Ragsdale, she was born October 7, 1928 in Lepanto, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Ellis Walley and her parents.

Survivors include one son Anthony Cohn of London; two grandsons Richard Cohn of Ashflat, Brandon Cohn of Ashflat; four brothers Wilford Ragsdale of Milaca, Minnesota, Adolph Ragsdale of Dardanelle, George Ragsdale of London, Tyrone Ragsdale of London; three sisters Geneva Cox of Dardanelle, Mary Durham of Russellville, and Shirley Bounds of London; three step daughters Glenda Blahut of Theodosia, Missouri, Helen Bryan of Monticello, Sue Spencer of West Memphis. Twelve step grandchildren and twelve step great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2006 at Humphrey Chapel with the Reverend Richard Adams officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
