Sherrie, Irene J. (nee Zak), age 80, of Palatine, formerly of Chicago. Wife of the late Vincent J. Sherrie, mother of the late Vincent J. Sherrie Jr., sister of Helen (Philip) Grib, the late Bernice (Stanley) Michalec, the late Walter Zak and the late Jane (Vito) Capozzielli, aunt of Stanley Michalec, the Rev. Robert Grib S.J., the Rev. Philip Grib S.J., Joseph Michalec, Jane (Tom) Mayland, Daniel Capozzielli, Michael Capozzielli, and William Capozzielli, also survived by many beloved relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 8 p.m. at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Memorials will be appreciated to St. Joseph Home for the Elderly.
