Ira Smith Obituary

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

TO ALL OF MY COUSINS FAMILY, HAPPY ARE THE MEMORIES OF TIMES SPENT AT AUNT DOTS AND UNCLE IRA'S. WHEN IRA JR AND ALL MY 2ND COUSINS WERE OVER AND WE (KIDS) STAYED OUT LATE AND SLEPT IN THE TENT. THE LAST TIME I SAW IRA JR WAS THE LAST REUNION WE MET AT AUNT DOTS AND RON AND HIS DAD WERE STILL WITH US. THAT WAS A GREAT DAY EVEN IF AUNT DOT DIDN'T FEEL GOOD AND SANDRA AND OAKLEY WERE LATE BECAUSE OF A HURRICANE. SO MANY YEARS AND SO MANY MEMORIES. MY HEART AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ira Jr. at this sad time. I remember him as a special kind of fellow in the Graham High School class of '58. I missed seeing him at our 50th reunion but it was a blessing to see him at our 45th.

After going to Graham High School with Ira, it is with sadness that I learned of his death. My thoughts are with all of the family during this time. He was a sweet class mate and his passing leaves another void in our class of '58.
