Ione Stuart, 90, of Newton, Kansas, who worked as a Nurse for several nursing homes in the Newton area after the death of her husband, Clifford M., passed away at Friendly Acres Retirement Community, Newton on Thursday, January 20, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 21, 2000, 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, January 22, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at Petersen Funeral Home, Inc., 215 North Main, Newton. Funeral services scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m., with the Reverend James Voth officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
